My own Windows Sidebar Gadget
Friday, June 29th, 2007So while setting up my computer, I wanted a normal simple time display on the Vista Sidebar, however I could only find a 24 hour one which didn’t look too great.
So I thought about making my own and looked into it and found out they are written in not Java, C++, VB, but HTML and JavaScript, And after just a few minutes of messing around I was able to create a simple gadget, But it was just a little too simple, So I added a little extra something to it.
Between 7PM and 7AM the background of the gadget is a moon, the rest of the time its a sun, It’s on the Windows Live Gallery waiting for approval now.
I’ve already started on the next version too, it has some image adjustments and shows the date.
