Stargate: Atlantis is back, and already it looks like its going to be a good season, better than the last.

Can’t wait for Episode 2, love the show.

It’s almost ready, I just have to clean up the code and fix up the Widget control UI for it,
you can see a demo of it on my sidebar, I might release a beta in the next week or so.

I’ve been working on my WoW Armory Reader to get WordPress to recognize it as a sidebar Widget,
so far its going good, its a little buggy but works ok, more updates soon.

With having to move to a new host and server, then having to sort out the server cancellations at ThePlanet, the planned schedule for Twivo has been changed a bit,
but don’t worry, all is going well with Twivo, the user part of it is almost done, and some parts of the admincp are already being made(ahead of the planned dates).

If your someone who visits my site every now and then you may have noticed a new look to my site, the last main theme was a slightly edited K2, however when i moved to Liquid Web i created a new theme(JP5) for the site which was pretty dark , too dark i thought.

So i decided to create a new theme based on K2 and another theme with some changes to it here and there, I’m still working on it so for now its called J6 “Beta”, however as there never really was a J5, unofficially J6 can be called “J5.5″

No one has really asked why I’ve been naming my themes with 1 or 2 letters and a number, but it’ll explain anyway, obviously my name is Jack Polgar, take away the lowercase letters and you have JP, and because mainly my site uses the theme and because i made it i usually just call it something simple with something to do with me, so i used my initials with a number.

Now with the boring, meaning less explanation out of the way, i guess this is where i end this post… or shall i mention i might buy a new domain, something along the lines of “noonecares.net” ?

Some of you may know my sites are now on a server with Liquid Web, and I’d just like to say since I moved to Liquid Web I am very impressed.

My sites are faster, I have no setup problems as they did most of it and the price of the server is much better than the old one,
I absolutely recommend Liquid Web to anyone looking for a great web host, Liquid Web really know what they are doing, I have no idea why I didn’t host my websites with them when I started them.

I doubt I will ever move away from Liquid Web, their support is wonderful, better than any other host I have been with.

I’ve been watching Californication, the new TV series with David Duchovny, and I must say, its the best show I have ever watched,
yes even better than Stargate, ok well maybe just a little bit better.

If you haven’t watched an episode yet, I suggest you do so as soon as possible, you have no idea what you missing out on.

Well, my website is back and on a new server,

After running into problems with ThePlanet, I decided to cancel both my servers with them and go with Liquid Web,
And I must say, Liquid Web are absolutely great I recommend getting hosting from them, they are just so great and helpful.

This is going to be my last post, at least for a while anyway.

I’m going to cancel my server and order a new one, this server is fairly old with an outdated version of Red Hat,
The main reason is I ran into a snag when updating Apache 1.3 to Apache 2.0, Red Hat 9 had a little trouble with that.

The new server will be running CentOS version 5 with CPanel 11 Stage 2, with Apache 2.0 and PHP5.

This site will be up until I have backed up everything and tell my friends why they need to backup their stuff and prepare for a move.

I bought a new monitor today, nice big 24″ Widescreen LCD, so much more clear and brighter than that old POS CRT I had. I might upload a screenshot of something later to show just how big it is, Makes my 19″ LCD look tiny.

WLM 8.5 Beta 2 is a joke, before I installed it I used the previous beta version, and had no problems whatsoever,
After installing Beta 2 I sign in and almost immediately the whole things locks up, I was only able to send and receive a couple of messages before it happened.

After I restart WLM the same things happens, For now I’ve moved back to the latest stable version, but if the next beta doesn’t fix the problem, I’ll be trying Trillian…

Sometimes I install linux on one of my computers to test out some programs like Compiz Fusion,
But I install Ubuntu, only because its easy to install things with, however yesterday I tried Fedora 7, and I must say its a hell of a lot better than Ubuntu.

One of the best things is the colors, its much nicer than that shit colored Ubuntu is, the default wallpaper is cool,
And its just as easy, if not easier than Ubuntu.

After setting it up and installing the updates I install Compiz Fusion, and Fedora + Compiz Fusion = Sweet Desktop.

If and when I stop using windows, I wont be going to Ubuntu, I’ll be going to Fedora.
