As we draw closer to the release of the Orange Box, I started thinking about buying it, so I checked the price at my favorite game store GAME,
and was stunned at the price they have it listed for, $99 dollars.
Now before I say what I think, lets take a look at the price of it on Steam, $49 US dollars,
now who in the right mind would pay $99 when they can buy it on Steam for $49USD? better yet, $45USD if you pre-order it.
You could say it costs more because of the conversion from USD to AUD, but that would bring it to $55AUD,
It seems GAME like to overprice things a little too much, 60 or even 70 would be fine, but $99? I’d rather buy it on Steam.
I’ve not posted anything in the last few days, so I thought I would post something..
To start off with, I’ve started playing World of Warcraft again after playing Battlefield 2142 non-stop for the past week.
And just as I start having good fun questing and doing instances, I get pulled away to do on a stupid family holiday to some shitty place near Apollo Bay, I fucking hate that place.
So I bought Halo 2 for Windows Vista today, and as usual when I buy a game I go to install it as soon as I get home which is what I did with Halo 2,
However I thought it was some other Microsoft Product when it asked to “Activate” the game, I mean WTF? Product Activation in games now?, I swear, Microsoft are obsessed with Product Activation so much it was never funny.
Anyway, after I installed it and got into the game I was greatly unimpressed with the game, there are a few reasons one of them is the Mouse Sensitivity, I have no idea how someone can play with such a slow moving mouse, even set to the “Insane” sensitivity level its still really slow, after reading up on it the game I found that Halo 2 designed for Vista and the “latest hardware” isn’t good enough for the 8800GT[X], the card is “too powerful” so after force enabling a few settings for the game via the nVidia Control Panel, the mouse speed increased slightly, not as much as I would like, but enough to make it playable.
Pretty much what I’m trying to say is Halo 2 for PC isn’t as good as I expected it to be, the original Halo is much better.
Fucking Microsoft and their Product Activation
Haha, Been so busy playing World of Warcraft, I forgot I even had a website.
But I haven’t forgotten about Twivo, thats coming along smoothly, over the next few weeks the friend and messaging system will be up, so keep an eye out for it.
The reason I’ve not posted much the past few days is because I’ve been playing World of Warcraft again.
And few minutes ago I just ran through one of the lower level instances as I am a low level in the game right now, I do this instance every now and then but this time I had my new Paladin weapon with me and man does this weapon packs a punch, I did the most damage out of the while group, I’ve attached an image of it so you can see for yourself.
By the way, my name in WoW is Clorell, same as my Star Wars Galaxies name.
I bought Garry’s Mod the other day and I’ve been playing it since, That game is bloody awsome!.
I might upload some videos of it.
I applied for the Beta, I got into the Beta and after weeks of being a Beta Player I have only played it twice, Yes Twice, Why? Because it’s World of Warcraft in a different wrapper, and the animations are too solid.
Not seen my online? Not heard from me in a while? maybe its because I’m now a Full Time Gamer.
Thats right, no more webdesign, webdevelopment, 3d modelling, personal website improvements, just games.

I’ve been playing Star Wars Galaxies non stop for the past week like I used to.
However I have started playing Lord of The Rings Online Beta, It’s not as great as it looks, but I guess if you like WoW you should like LOTRO as it feels like WoW.
I bough Battlefield 2142 today, Got on it to have a quick look before I watch a TV episode I downloaded, ended up playing it to 2AM, That is one kick ass game!
Well, Basically this is my day:
- An hour or so of Americas Army and/or Battlefield 2
- A few hours of coding stuff, like Exero CMS, Tivia Core and/or a website I’m being paid to make(CGN)
- Maybe watch a movie or two
- A bit more coding..
- And then maybe some more games..
Well, I Quit playing Star Wars Galaxies today, Its a shame SOE and LA ruined the game, It used to be such a great game, Now its just some poor attempt at a Star Wars RPG.
