I bought Duran Duran’s new album off iTunes for my mum for christmas, I burnt it to a CD and gave it to her, but I cant stop listening to the tracks in my iTunes library, I didn’t know they were an awesome band…
Been using my Mac so much I’m pretty good with this new keyboard, I can’t use my old one now, its too bulky, I’m getting used to the mouse too. I have to say, for someone who has been using Windows for about 7 years, Using a Mac for not even a day, I absolutely LOVE IT, I don’t know why I didn’t buy one years ago…
I watched 1408 last night and I must say it was quite a weird movie, I really have no idea what to say about it…
Yes you read the title right - I said I bought a Mac, well actually ordered one, They were out of the 24″ iMac’s so I have to wait a few weeks.
But to be honest, I’m not sure if I should be excited or worried, Its costing me about $2,600, I thought I’d get the 24″ because its only a few hundred dollars more than that 20″ one.
I just hope it works, and Boot Camp isn’t a bitch and works when I need to use Windows…
No its not cold, I’m talking about the band called Cold - they are my favorite band.
I bought their album “A Different Kind of Pain” a few months ago and recently bought “Year of the Spider”, and I have to say I really like the 2nd album I bought (Year of the Spider), the music on that album is absolutely great, I have been listening to it all day every day non-stop.
Have you ever said something to someone or done something and some person has said the most idiotic, stupid or annoying thing? it’s happened to me a few times.
I’ve sent links and images over Windows Messenger and the person I sent it to says “Whats that”, People like that piss me the hell off, I mean why not look at the damn thing to see what it is? lazy noob.
Another thing annoys me most is people that USE CAPS for everything, I mean really - do you have to use caps for a whole sentence? grow up.
Another thing that really gets on my nerves is people who think they are uber and try to talk leet, I feel like saying dude stfu and talk normal - stop trying to be cool, talking leet is lame..
Do I mention those people who like talk “hey wat u doin 2nite? wana go 2 da shopz” ? - people like that need to be shot. Seriously, go back to school and learn to spell!.
I was working on a project and I had some help, I asked how would this thing be done, I get “Don’t worry about that for now, just do the other part”, I tried to explain why I’m asking and again they said “Don’t worry about it”, Well how about you tell me what I want to know and I’ll stop worrying about it, hmm?
I was doing something one time a few months ago, and I picked something up off the floor, and someone turned around and said “No time for that - put it down”, I was like, dude you have no idea wtf I’m doing, I could have been moving it for all you know.
Most of the time I watch TV in my room but sometimes I’ll go downstairs to watch it with my family - which I probably wont do for much longer.
Every time I watch TV with them they always talk when I’m trying to watch TV, for example I’d go down to watch House, and they will start talking about something completely unrelated to the show, I mean WTH? I feel like saying “Shut up, I’m trying to watch the show”, but just say “ssh” and get a “No, we’re talking”.
I’d love to hear them talk in the movies, I bet they would get kicked out or at least told to shut up by someone else.
The other day I was watching TV and this ad came on about winning an iPhone, and I said to the others watching TV “Did you see that” and as usual they weren’t paying attention.
So I explained it to them, The ad said “Win an iPhone” they said “Yeah, and?” I responded the iPhone isn’t out here (Australia) yet, it won’t work here, my mum said “Why not” so I had to explain to her that the iPhone is locked to a specific service like AT&T for example, and then said who the right state of mind would ring up or do whatever the ad said to “Win an iPhone” ?
It’s clearly a scam of some kind, whoever cleared that ad to be shown on TV should be fired to allowing shit like that to be on tv.
Because I’m a 501st Legion member, I’ve started getting some challenge coins the garrisons, detachments, etc make.
So far I’ve got one my garrison (Terror Australis Garrison) has made and the First Imperial Stormtrooper Detachment (whitearmor.net) coin.

My neighbors are so god damn annoying, I’m just trying to sleep and they play some really shitty music and turn it up loud enough that it wakes me.
If no one else was home I’d put on some of my music, a little Trance or Linkin Park and turn it up, all the way (which happens to be pretty loud).
If you don’t already know, Stargate is my favorite TV show even though they have killed off some of my favorite characters.
My most favourite character was Jacob Carter or “Selmak” the Tok’ra from SG-1,
I have to admit I almost cried when he died, he was the best character in the whole show, I even had dreams about him - yes thats weird I know (and that doesn’t mean I’m gay).
One of my other favorite characters was Carson Beckett from Atlantis,
The funny doctor, he was a great character and they killed him - really sucks.
And don’t forget Elizabeth Weir also from Atlantis,
The leader of the Atlantis mission, she was always great to watch, replacing her with Samantha Carter wasn’t the best thing to do, it’s just not the same without Weir.
There are others I liked, Jack O’Neill, George Hammond, Janet Fraiser and Jonas Quinn, but I don’t really miss them as much as the others, And even though they have removed the good characters I still love Stargate, The base of the show is what makes the it good to watch, I’ve always loved SciFi shows and movies.
I just hope they don’t cancel Atlantis…
The only time I watch TV is to watch my favourite TV shows, which are House and Life.
And I have to say, the ads on TV are atleast 3 minutes long, I could run down to the shops and back before the show is back on, I might just download them for now on, TV ads are annoying.
And people wonder why sites like EZTV exist.
